The National Commission for International Coöperation and Sustainable Development, supports People’s Trust already for years with advice and by doublings of fundraisings. Thanks to the subsidies of the NCDO, many buiilding projects could be established in Nepal.


KidsRights
Kidsrights linked the prize in money of 75.000 euro to the Childpeace prize donated to People’s Trust Netherlands because of the years of struggle against childprostitution.
This amount is spent on a huge educationprogram in Nepal, because PTN believes that education is the most important means against childprostituion and part of the amount benefitted for professional training programs of rescued girls in Delhi.


CMYK

Director Willem Reesink and his coöperators of the advertising agency CMYK from Uithoorn, already for years take care of the printing of our envelopes, letterheads and the layout and printing of the newsletters. They also pay the transmission!


SAS® ...THE POWER TO KNOW®

SAS, founded in 1976, is specialist in business analytics software and sevices, and the biggest independant tradesman in the business intelligence market. The company grows continuously and is profitable from its establishment. More than 45.000 companies, government organisations and universities, worldwide, use the software from SAS. More than 60% of the companies listed on the Euronext, already are customer of SAS Netherlands. In the meantime it became a good habit not to send christmascards, but to do a donation for a good purpose.
During the recent years we have done donations to: Net4kids, Foundation Send a Tent, Unicef (Children and HIV) and last year to KiKa (Foundation Children Free from Cancer). Also this year, the staff got the chance to nominate a good purpose and the whole staff voted on the nominated good purposes. People’s Trust received this year most of the votes and in the meanwhile the donation of 4.000 euro has been transferred.


Catz International B.V.

People’s Trust received in 2007 a donation of 25.000 euro from the Catz Charity Foundation (CCF). The CCF was established in 2006 by Catz International B.V. (an international trading company of tropical prducts, active in more than 80 countries). In 2006 they celebrated their 150th anniversary.


Mark van Schaick Marine Services

Mark van Schaick Marine Services, founded in 2000, is a specialist in the repair of crankshafts, connecting rods, engine and industrial parts such as turbine parts, engineblocks and pistons. The crew of Mark van Schaick Marine Services is a group of enthousiastic and skilled employees with an extended workshop at hand with some unique machinery. We have crankshaft lathes that can grind shafts up to 12 meters long. Beside crankshafts we also grind turbine, pump and generator shafts. Mark van Schaick Marine Services has a worldwide reputation with knowledge and service focussed on the client in the area of machine parts, bringing in orders from all over the world.

Himalaya Magazine

Himalaya Magazine is a half yearly magazine of 32 pages, that is made completely by volunteers. Its purpose is to gather people who feel concerned about the lands of the Himalaya. The redaction does this by giving background information and image material about culture, happenings and activities which happen in this vast mountain area. The redaction hopes also that foundations which are active in the Himalayas search to coöperate together.

Publisher Verhagen
Publisher Verhagen is already more than 80 years publisher of local newsmedia. With nine locale newspapers, the Bloemenkrant and the monthly magazine “Ondernemers Actief” (active publishers) they may reckon themselves among the group of middle-sized publishers. Last year we received a gift of 12.000 euro from director Guido Verhagen for the freeing and caring of 30 kidnapped girls out of the brothels of India. They also print our newsletters for free!


Impulsis
This year Impulsis supports People’s Trust with an amount of 20.000 euro for preventionprojects in Delhi (India). Impulsis is an initiative of Edukans, ICCO and ‘Kerk in Actie'.


Oxfam Novib
This big development organisation supported People’s Trust in 2007 with a subsidy of 30.000 euro. With this 27 rescued girls could attend a one year training for hairdresser/facial care in Delhi. All the girls succeeded and earn now independently their own income!


robertblom.nl
Initiator Robert Blom and his partners Otto Munsters, Hans Gerritsen and Jeff Gebhardt from the marketing and communication network robertblom.nl have improved our website on some essential issues, including a new layout and an online payment module, for free. They also optimized the findability of the website.


Seva Network Foundation
People’s Trust is member of Seva Network Foundation. This organisation has doubled the proceeds of a fundraising for the purchase of a jobtraining center in Sita Paila, situated in the Kathamandu-district.


Stichting Save
Foundation Save finances the yearly running costs of 15.000 euro for the care, education and jobtrainings of 80 rescued girls from STOP in Delhi. Save includes a Young team that believes that students can make the diference in the lives of youth in developing countries. By the donation of only 2 euro per month of 2000 students. Save supports projects in Kenia, India and Cambodja. Save also wants to see awareness and action among students, currently in three High Schools: Widesheim, CHE and InHolland. Also the coming years, Foundation Save would like to keep on supporting this Indian project.


Oreade B.V.

Director Kevin Couch from Oreade B.V. in Haarlem has made 1000 DVD’s for free (including design for the cover) with five recent TV-broadcasts, whereby our chairman was interviewed. A part of the sale of some beautifull music-cd’s, partly goes to People’s Trust.

Rescue Foundation
The Rescue Foundation in Mumbai is specialized in rescues, accomodation and reïntegration. People’s Trust supports the Rescue Foundation teams to rescue girls, now also in Puna, located 200 km from Mumbai.

People's Welfare Family Service Committee (PWFSC)
PWFSC is a grass-roots organisation which is active in the districts around Kathmandu, Nepal. They implement an educational program with support of People’s Trust, by which thousands of students get direct support and by which yearly some new schools are realized. They also give content to the adoption of villages by People’s Trust. Like that they select inividuals who are entitled for support and they determine how the best help can be rendered. They also run the new refuge in Sita Paila situated in the Kathmandu-district.


STOP Trafficking and Oppression of Women (STOP)
In 1997 People’s Trust set up a rescue team in Delhi, in collaboration with STOP. Till then they were an organisation which did much of prevention and also assisted victims. Since then they liberated actively children from the brothels. People’s Trust supports STOP on prevention, rescues, care and reïntegration.

Bangladesh National Women's Lawyers' Association (BNWLA)
Bangladesh National Women's Lawyers' Association (BNWLA) The BNWLA is traditionally a lobby organisation, but in the meantime has already much experience with preventive information to potential victims and the liberating and care for girls who were in the prostitution. BNWLA works already a long time together with STOP.


Child Workers in Nepal (CWIN)
People’s Trust works already a long time together with CWIN in Nepal. So People’s Trust built a big refuge, located in the village called Pastali (Kavre-district) and transferred it to CWIN. In that refuge there live currently 108 children.
