Dutch optician helps poor people in Nepal!
Dutch opticain helps again hundreds of poor people in Nepal with proper glasses! End of march, 2009!
Leo Hakkaart, secretary of foundation People’s Trust Netherlands and optician, left for the 16th consecutive year, to Nepal. Leo works at the Department of Defense in Den Helder and this time took one of his colleagues with him, Mr Rob Oudshoorn, who shows a nice travelogue and beautifull photos of Leo’s work in Nepal. People’s Trust again paid the ticketcosts for Leo and by this 315 poor Nepalese people could get proper glasses. The frames Leo again got for free from a company in the Netherlands and the costs to cut the lenses correctly, Leo took on his behalf. Leo also takes his expensive machine to measure eyes to Nepal and thus not less than 315 of the poorest Nepalese people could be helped. Our People’s Trust jeep in Nepal with our driver Dev Kumar, guided them again on this loving support action.
On behalf of our board and the poor in Nepal, we thank Leo again for his loving help to the most poor in Nepal.
Next year Leo will go again to Nepal
