PTN receives two times 20.000 euro!

On Tuesday 19 may 2009 the board of PTN was invited in ‘De Rijp’ by Arnold van der Lee to receive a donation of not less than 20.000 euro. Arnold started on 30 april 2008 his sponsor cycling tour to Nepal. He arrived on 4 october 2008 in Kathmandu. Janice Aliar, collaborator of Seva Network Foundation (SNF) also was present and announced that this amount was doubled by SNF! Our chairman received the cheque and announced that the donation would be completely used for the construction costs of a new center for disabled people and for the extension of a school in Nepal. This festive gathering took place in the presence of, mayor van Graft- De Rijp. The mayor promised to come to open the two buildings the next year, together with Arnold and our chairman! Town-crier “Jan Geert the First” also was present and announced very clear and loud the event in verse!
